Hi dA Artists,
Have you ever dreamt of having your heroine or female OC sculpted by an experienced sculptor? Well, this may be your dream chance...
CONTEST THEME: Share with me and the dA community your work showing your favorite heroine (a female hero) or female OC in a dramatic pose and/or heroic moment, in either 2D or 3D form, and in either traditional or digital medium. I will choose one among the accepted entries and sculpt her! Best of all, the Winner gets to have the sculpture!!
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 12 midnight PST, Sunday, February 28, 2010.
THE PRIZE:
Grand Prize Winner: Have your heroine/female OC figure sculpted by me!
Additional prizes (if any): If anybody wants to sponsor this contest and provide a prize, it would be greatly appreciated. 
JUDGING:
The Grand Prize Winner will be selected by me, within one week from the end of the contest. Please know that I am looking for emotive work that will move me. My decision is final.
SPECIAL CONTEST CLAUSES (PLEASE READ!):
Please note that, in the event there is less than 200 accepted entries by the deadline, the Grand Prize (i.e., Have your heroine figure sculpted by me) will be substituted with a two-year dA subscription, or a dA Hoodie/Jacket of the Winner's choice.
The Grand Prize Winner agrees to provide additional reference pictures of the winning heroine/female OC if requested by me.
In order to receive the sculpture, the Grand Prize Winner will need to provide me with his/her name and address (how else am I going to ship the sculpture to you the Winner? 
). If the Grand Prize Winner does not provide the shipping information, he/she forfeits the prize.
Please keep in mind that my skills limitations may require me to simplify the Winner's art for sculpting purposes and for my artistic interpretation, if the art as presented is too complicated for me to sculpt verbatim.
I will keep the Winner (and anybody else interested) appraised of my sculpting progress by posting a WIP (work-in-progress) deviation on the sculpture.
Please note, in the event that, with earnest effort, I am unable to complete the sculpture by June 30, 2010 (4 months from the end of Contest), the Grand Prize (i.e., Have your heroine figure sculpted by me) will be substituted with a two-year subscription.
The sculpture may not be reproduced without my explicit permission.
RULES:
Must be new work, made specifically for this contest, created after the start of the contest, and submitted by the contest deadline.
Note that the character needs to be a heroine or your female original character (OC). For a heroine, she can be a superhero or super villian, and does not have to be an OC.
No gore, no porn, no macabre/horror. Sexy is fine, but nothing overtly sexual (i.e., PG-13 max).
One submission per person.
Please submit your entry by sending me a note with a thumb of your entry, with the subject "Sculpt for Me Arty!". In the note, feel free to share with me tidbits about your heroine/female OC.
Only work in the following categories is accepted:
--> Traditional Art
--> Digital Art
--> Artisian Crafts
--> Film & Animation
--> Game Development Art
--> Manga/Anime
--> Fan Art
No photography (sorry).
Human characters only (no animals, anthro, etc. sorry). (An additional fact here is, I am just not that good with sculpting a non-human being/creature as the subject.)
Note again that the subject of this Contest is heroine or female OC, so, submissions with a male hero as the subject will not be accepted (sorry).
I will fave submissions that are accepted by me. Accepted submissions will be gathered here: Sculpt for Me Arty Contest Collection.

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES:
I take pride in what I sculpt, and that means a sculpture by me takes a lot of time and effort. Since sculpting takes a lot of work, I am looking for work that took a lot of thoughts and efforts. I am looking for high-quality work, and work that resonates with me - that’s only fair, right? 
Show-off your artistic skills to those who may not know the details about your art. I highly recommend that you provide a detailed description of your work in the deviation comments. It certainly will help me, and others, appreciate the work that goes into creating the art.
Please know that, numerically, the odds of winning is small. Say there were exactly 200 entries, your numerical odds would be 1/200 or 0.5%. And this also means 199 deviants would be disappointed. I ask in advance that you understand this fact, and so please refrain from dissing me if your entry happens to be not selected. 
Why Is Arty Doing This Crazy Give-Away Contest?
Well, I have found that it is really hard to get established as a sculptor. I am simply trying to get my name out there, while having fun with a hopefully exciting sculpting project during my free time. That's all.
Now, go create art and make something that will move me, before I wake up to my senses!
